Killer Darts Rules: How to Play Killer

Killer is the party game: everyone gets a number, earns the right to attack, then takes lives off each other until one player is left. It takes two to eight players and is best with a crowd.

Setup

Each player gets a different number from 1 to 20 (The Darts App assigns them at random) and starts with 3 or 5 lives.

Becoming a killer

You become a killer by hitting a double or treble of your own number, or by hitting three singles of it across your turns.

Taking lives

  • As a killer, hitting another player's number takes lives: 1 for a single, 2 for a double, 3 for a treble.
  • Hitting your own number as a killer costs you a life, so watch the stray darts.
  • A player with no lives left is out, and their turns are skipped.
The last player with lives wins. Pub rules vary, so agree the version before you start.
