Is The Darts App free?
Yes. Scoring, stats and tournaments are free for players, with no ads. The venue and League plans are free until January 1, 2027, then $199 a year per venue and $249 a year per league.
Which darts games can it score?
X01 (301, 501, 701, 901 or any start from 101 to 1501; straight, double or master in and out; handicap starts), Cricket (standard, cutthroat), Around the World, Round the Clock, Round the Clock Triples, Count Up, Bob's 27, 121 checkout, Catch 40, Random checkout, Nine-dart finish, 41 to 60, 99 darts at T20, Doubles practice, Shanghai Doubles Challenge, Tactics, No Score Cricket, Random Cricket, Shanghai, Halve-It, Killer, Gotcha, Golf, Baseball, Bermuda Triangle, Mickey Mouse. X01 and Cricket can be played as a match, first to a number of legs or in sets, and as singles or doubles.
Do I need an account?
No. Start scoring right away. Sign up for a free account when you want your stats on every device, Friends and tournaments, and the games you've already played move into it. Games played without an account are deleted after 30 days without play. We never sell your data, and you can download it any time.
Can I play a Friend online?
Yes. Challenge a Friend to X01 or Cricket while each of you throws at your own board. You each score your own darts, and both phones show the whole match live. You both need a free account.
Is there an iPhone or Android app?
Not yet. The Darts App works in any modern browser on phones, tablets and computers. The iPhone and Android apps are coming soon and will use the same account.
Can it run a darts tournament?
Yes: single or double elimination, round robin, Swiss or groups, for singles or pairs, in legs or sets. Add up to 32 players yourself, or open sign-ups with no limit (or a cap of up to 128). Running a tournament takes a free account; players can join an open sign-up without one, and anyone can follow the live bracket.
Can I practice against the computer?
Yes. Bots play at any 501 average from 20 to 110, in nine levels from Beginner to Elite. Give a bot a style, like strong on doubles or streaky, or make a mirror bot that throws like you. Bots play X01, Cricket, Count Up, Halve-It, Golf, Baseball, Checkout drills, Gotcha, Shanghai Doubles Challenge, Target practice, Shanghai, Around the World and Killer. Bot games count in your averages as practice, never toward your win record.
